Researcher William Thomas joined the show to discuss the difference between contrails and what came to be known as chemtrails (the term hadn't been invented yet). Thomas said his life was “turned upside down” when he got a report from a man who said he saw jets flying back and forth making a grid with contrails in the sky, which made him, his wife, and some neighbors sick. They speculated that the contrails might just be a system used to make people sick in order to test ways of curing them.

Linda Moulton Howe joined Art to discuss her own research into the phenomenon. She spoke about seeing a large silver airplane making a large white X in a clear sky; she then realized there were other large Xs in the sky too. Soon after, the sky was overcast with clouds. Mouton Howe shared a phone call from a man who reported seeing 7 contrails forming one morning.
