Prophecy expert Hal Lindsey joined Art to talk about passages in the Bible that signal the End Times. He warned that turning away from the words of the Bible and absolute truth was bringing on a worldwide disaster. Lindsey said that the breakdown of the family and discipline, and the effects of this situation are another sign of the end. Lindsey expressed the belief that the Antichrist was "alive in the world right now" and would hasten this series of events.
He also pointed to weather and Earth changes along with recent political developments and how these would contribute to Armageddon. The event that will trigger the last great war will be a dispute between Jerusalem as prophesied by Zechariah, he suggested.
In the first hour, Art was excited to welcome legendary singer and entertainer Nancy Sinatra. She described the background of how her big hits such as "These Boots Are Made For Walking" and (with Lee Hazlewood) "Some Velvet Morning" were recorded. They discussed Vietnam and how she went over to perform for the troops. It was important for her to help out in some way.
She recalled the musical and entertainment legacy of her father, Frank Sinatra, and the fact that FBI director J. Edgar Hoover had an intense dislike for him. She also talked about the difficulties faced by female singers and those of color in the 1960s and '70s.
