ET Experience & 'Safespace'

About the show

Producer and writer Robert D. Miles talked about how his science fiction book, Safespace, was a manifestation of his personal extraterrestrial experience. A seasoned adventurer, Miles recounted his harrowing ocean voyages, as well as building and selling specialized sailboats. It was on a boat that he had 'an incredible feeling of energy' with lights and color and a beautiful woman who appeared next to him with a message of hope and opportunity. He was then transported to New York City from his location in Hawaii and boarded a UFO for a trip to Jupiter to attend what was described to him as a 'briefing.'

Miles was told that Earth was a "prison planet" where defeated and evil leaders from other planets were banished. He was instructed to construct ocean-going vessels that would act as places where humans could learn to live in sustainable ways and in peace, and to spread this message around the world which he referred to as "the Safe Space experience." The first hour featured news and Open Lines.
