Featured in hours 2-4, anthropologist Dr. Hank Wesselman worked for many years with an international team of scientists, exploring Eastern Africa's Great Rift Valley in search of answers to the mystery of human origins. He is also a shaman in training (at the time of this interview he was in his 20th year of his apprenticeship). Wesselman shared a story when he was on an 18-hour flight, sitting next to a creationist Christian, who he had a lengthy debate with. The man became disturbed and after about a 2-hour conversation, he spent most of the flight in the bathroom, Wesselman recounted.
A very early type of human that came from 4 ½ - 6 million years ago looks like a cross between chimps and apes, and Wesselman suggested it might be the 'missing link.' He also described his out-of-body experiences where he would see his own body sleeping. One night he went through the wall, floating above his camp when he was on an excursion in Africa. He thought they were dreams until one of the Africans asked him why he was flying over the tent. During the caller portion, one man who attended one of the guest's workshops, asked about the grid he saw when performing Reiki on someone. Wesselman describes tapping into the field of a locale and perceiving something recorded in that field, whether it happened a hundred years ago or a hundred years from now.
In the first hour, Art features news of the day and Open Lines, and talks about a piece written by Dr. Steven Greer on the 9-11 attacks.
