John Hogue writes on the subjects of the occult, parapsychology, mysticism, and prophecy. He is considered a world authority on Nostradamus and was the guest for the entire program. "It’s difficult to know something that has not yet happened," he said, but we can focus on the present to get a sense of where we are going. He wanted to get the focus back to the present instead of being obsessed with the future - what he calls "quantum futures" – different roads that we can go down. He emphasized that Nostradamus called his prophecies "threats," and discussed specific writings of the prophet throughout the show.
Some of the predictions are quite obscure, and some wrong, but some of the obscure writings could have been accessed in a "quantum future" said Hogue. Art ponders how many prophets of old would be diagnosed as insane today.
Hogue also talked about his brush with sudden death after being in a terrible car accident. He noted that when he faces death again, he hopes it takes longer so he can be alive long enough to see the various stages of death. He felt a presence there that was very loving, and during this incident, he was thrown into a "state of goldenness." He believed that he had a choice of staying or leaving that realm.
