About the show

Open Lines for the entire show featured discussion of news coverage of the OJ trial, the Tonya Harding and Paula Jones scandals, and doubts and criticism about Jimmy Carter's then-recent brokering of an apparent peace deal with North Korea. It was also Art’s birthday and callers wished him a happy one.

At the end of the first hour, UFO magazine editor Don Ecker called in to refute a Richard Hoagland claim about artificial structures on the Moon. Other topics during the show included shortwave radio, welfare, second-hand smoke, media bias, and a child abduction in Reno.
