Marcum was building a time machine but was arrested for stealing equipment to make his machine. Reportedly, he was just 30 days away from making his machine work. Art had planned to fly to St. Louis to videotape Marcum's machine when it was working.

Deformed frogs were also in the news, and Art said that even a non-scientist knows that four-headed frogs are not good. Art talked about urban legends, and asked what listeners would do if they woke up one morning and the sun never came out. He mentioned a call from astronaut Edgar Mitchell, who wanted back on the show to share more info about UFOs.
