Open Lines, UFOs, & Keith Rowland

About the show

For a night of Open Lines, callers shared UFO accounts, commentary on the death penalty, and more. Art also interviewed his webmaster, Keith Rowland who described the behind-the-scenes work he did. A woman called in with a spectacular UFO sighting from San Diego, and said that the local news was playing video of the event, which later turned out to be a rocket launch. The next caller spelled out his objections to the death penalty, since Art had expressed his opinion in favor of it. Many callers on the show subsequently shared their opinions about the controversial issue.

During hour 2 and the first half of hour 3, Art brought on his webmaster, Keith Rowland, who talked about answering calls from listeners. Art said he often told Rowland what he planned for the show at the last minute. Rowland also described the (now obsolete) methods for listening to old C2C shows.

Later, a few callers referred to a recent guest who said the pet food industry was using deceased dogs and cats in their rendering plants. A man said the recently-released alien autopsy film was fake because "they don’t look like that." A caller described strange aircraft flight patterns he recently observed, as well as reports of a "vast underground complex" under construction. Near the end of the show, one man from Southern California mentioned strange weather that he said preceded earthquakes.
