Spirit Communications

About the show

One of the most successful mediums of our time, James Van Praagh is world renowned for his extraordinary ability to communicate with the spirits of men, women, and animals who have died. Van Praagh recalled that, as a child, he could "see lights and colors around people." Describing communication with spirits as "very personal," he receives thoughts from spirits that reveal their personalities, and often the first thing they communicate is how they died.

Van Praagh said his communications with animals come to him in the same way but with an energy that is a clear purity of love and consciousness. He went on to say that Jesus was also a psychic medium. The phenomenon of the "life review" at death was explained as each individual being the judge and the jury as to how their lives were lived, and that Earth is a "school" for the next lifetime.

A few weeks before September 11, 2001, Van Praagh recalled that he got impressions of "a war on the East Coast" and saw "a lot of glass, smoke, and a lot of people are dead." Van Praagh said he believed that many people are psychic, but not aware of it, though they can use these skills in creative ways to improve their lives and the lives of others. You can train yourself to amplify your psychic powers simply by believing, concentrating, and self-training, he declared. In the last hour, Van Praagh gave readings to listeners.

In the first hour, Richard C. Hoagland discussed some new developments in an "armada" of various Mars probes, and mentioned that the competition between the European Space Agency and NASA would result in more open information about the Red Planet.
