Spirits & EVPs

About the show

Brendan Cook and Barbara McBeath of the Ghost Investigators Society revealed a number of their recordings of ghosts (aka Electronic Voice Phenomena - EVP) captured in mortuaries, abandoned buildings, old hotels, cemeteries, and other haunted places.

Art discussed the case of a woman who died for over an hour and was able to describe what happened to her during her operation and what she saw after death. McBeath presented evidence that the mind/soul goes on after death, while Cook suggested that in the near-death incident the woman may have been stuck between our plane and another dimension. Their first EVP example came from a cemetery - it was on a night they witnessed a "ghost light" with their own eyes - not using any equipment. Brendan spoke about a picture he took of something landing on his back. With the EVPs, they demonstrated how difficult it is for everyone to hear the same thing - Art speculated that it may be hard for the spirits to be heard legibly from the Other Side.

In the first hour, Art related the latest news about rapid climate change and then Whitley Strieber talked about "The Coming Global Superstorm," the book he wrote with Art, and the predictions they made which seemed to be coming true around the world.
