Surviving Disaster

About the show

Philip Hoag is one of a few US civilians with experience in shelter life support systems, including power generation and air filtration. He discussed threats such as nuclear, chemical, and biological warfare, terrorism, earthquakes, and climate change, offering advice on how to survive. He recommended avoiding target areas, like big cities, and went into detail about water and food storage, fresh air supplies, and how to build a shelter and generate electricity.

Hoag also talked about protection from electromagnetic pulse attacks, said the best reaction to impending changes is to be prepared, and suggested protecting yourself and your loved ones by isolating in place until the threat has passed.

The last 2 hours were Open Lines, including a mysterious shortwave signal reported by a listener.
