The Creationist Argument

About the show

Carl Edward Baugh, featured in hours 2-4, is the founder and director of Creation Evidence Museum, in Glen Rose, Texas. He is also the scientific research director for the world's first hyperbaric biosphere; scientific research director for water reclamation and energized plant systems; and the discoverer and excavation director of two major dinosaurs: Acrocanthosaurus in Texas and Stegosaurus stenops in Colorado. He holds a degree in theology from Baptist Bible College, a Masters in archaeology, and a Ph.D. in education, both from Pacific College of Graduate Studies.

He discussed his theory that dinosaurs could not have lived in the time that traditional paleontology indicates, and his search for living dinosaurs. Baugh noted that dinosaurs had very small lung capacity and in today's atmospheric conditions, they would never survive, which might be the reason for their demise. Baugh also discusses why he believes man appeared on Earth just six-thousand years ago – this, coming from someone who used to be an evolutionist. Art asked Baugh to explain how something like the Hubble Telescope could look back 15 billion years, but Baugh says everything was created just 6,000 years ago. He talked about quantum algebra as an answer. The key, according to Baugh, is that it is not possible for life to evolve. God created his energy on planet Earth and nowhere else.

In the first hour, Art took calls, and presented news of the day, including a discussion about intrusive satellite feeds, and an animal mutilation case.
