Could the Shroud of Turin hold the true imprint of Jesus?

A recent study by Brazilian graphics expert Cicero Moraes casts doubt on the authenticity of the Turin Shroud as the burial cloth of Jesus. By using a virtual simulation, Moraes explored whether the shroud's imprint could realistically result from covering a human body. His findings indicate that the image on the shroud is too undistorted to be from an actual body, as bloodstains and impressions would typically appear more swollen and distorted. Moraes instead suggests that the shroud may be a piece of Christian art, purposefully crafted to convey a religious message rather than being a genuine burial cloth.
