The UFO phenomenon, war with China, and Reiki healing techniques applied to animals were among the fascinating topic explored this past week on Coast to Coast AM. And, here at the C2C website, we told you about a giant figure filmed atop a hill in Brazil, a epic treasure hunter that took a tragic turn, and a pilot who spotted a huge triangular UFO fly past his aircraft. Check out our round-up of highlights from the past week ... In Coast You Missed It.
UFOs and their possible ET occupants were a hot topic of conversation this past week on Coast to Coast AM. On Sunday night's program, civil rights attorney Daniel Sheehan provided an update on his efforts towards disclosure and experiencer Debbie Solaris shared insights from her contacts with various extraterrestrial races. Then, on Wednesday night, metaphysical researcher Constance Victoria Briggs talked about what she believes to be ancient interactions between the human race and aliens. And, on Thursday night's program, State Director for Illinois MUFON, Sam Maranto, recounted noteworthy cases that he has investigated and the possibility that disclosure could happen in the not-too-distant future.
A pair of puzzling videos featuring mysterious bipedal creatures made headlines this past week, beginning with a particularly eerie case out of Brazil where visitors to a picturesque island captured footage of a giant figure standing atop a hill. The strange scene went viral on social media with many observers likening the peculiar being, which appeared to be around ten feet tall, to an alien and even the local government joined in on the conversation, suggesting that the popular tourist destination was so breathtaking that it even drew visitors from out of this world. Later in the week, a pair of hikers in Chile stumbled upon a dark bipedal figure that seemed to be watching them before vanishing from the scene.
The prospect of the United States going to war with China should they attempt to take back Taiwan was explored on Monday night's program as author Sean Patrick Hazlett cautioned that this worrisome scenario very well may unfold in 2024. With America distracted by the conflicts in Ukraine and Israel, he observed, China may seize on the opportunity to launch an invasion of Taiwan sometime in the spring when the weather and sea conditions are particularly conducive for such a maneuver. Hazlett posited that the United States would subsequently try to intervene, which could quickly lead to cyber attacks against America and then outright war between the two superpowers.
The phenomenon of commercial aircraft encountering UFOs found its way into the news this past week by way of two stories. First, a private pilot en route to Maryland contacted the nearest air traffic control tower to report seeing a 30-foot-tall triangular object that flew past his plane. A recording of the conversation captured the man's bewilderment over what he had just seen and the ATC operator's attempt to make some sense of the strange incident. Cases like that were in mind later in the week when a pair of Congressmen put forward a proposed piece of legislation that would create a system for commercial and civilian pilots as well as other aviation professionals to report their UAP sightings to the federal government.
The practice of Reiki took center stage on Tuesday night's program as psychotherapist Dr. Laurie Nadel detailed her work applying the energy healing practice to animals that are experiencing health troubles or end-of-life issues. Explaining that she performs her work remotely by using a picture of the creature and receiving feedback from its owner. She recalled one specific session involving an ailing cat in Istanbul which was nearing the end of its life. In connecting with the feline's essence, Nadel said, she was able to receive images and words that the pet wished to convey to its heartbroken owner as their time together came to its inevitable conclusion.
Easily the most jaw-dropping story of the week came by way of Brazil, where a man convinced that there was a treasure buried beneath his kitchen floor dug an astounding 130-foot-deep hole and subsequently perished when he stumbled and fell down the chasm. A little over a year ago, João Pimenta had what he called a "prophetic dream" where a spirit told him that there was a huge cache of gold hidden under his house. In pursuit of the riches, the man poured his life savings into the treasure hunt, buying equipment and hiring workers to dig. However, his quest came to a tragic conclusion earlier this month when he lost his balance and plummeted into the hole to his death.
