Far from being thrilled that his property may have been visited by aliens, a British farmer was left fuming by the sudden appearance of a crop formation on his land that proved rather costly. At the center of a curious case is a sizeable design (seen in the drone video above) that was reportedly discovered in the county of Dorset last month. While such formations are often celebrated for their artistry, in this instance, the piece pulled back the proverbial curtain to reveal the ugly side of the mysterious phenomenon as the owner of the land was deeply dismayed at the damage done by the incident and reported the matter to authorities.
The Dorset Police Rural Crime Team indicated on social media that the unauthorized formation decimated approximately $2,500 of the farmer's crops. "This has had a significant financial impact on the farmer during a challenging summer due to the weather," Constable Kate Schofield explained, referencing what has been a blistering past few weeks for Britain. She went on to ask the public for any information as to who could have been behind the creation of the formation. While the cops will undoubtedly look into whatever tips they might receive, the long history of the mysterious phenomenon suggests that the Dorset Police Rural Crime Team's search for answers will probably be as futile as the many paranormal investigators who have come before them.
