In an eerie story out of Thailand, friends of a man who recently passed away believe that he paid them a visit in spirit form and, in the process, left behind a trail of ghostly footprints. The spooky incident reportedly occurred late last month in the city of Rayong when a resident identified as Peerapat woke up to discover the weird set of tracks seemingly created by an individual walking past his home in muddy shoes. Checking his security system to determine who was responsible for the trail, the homeowner was stunned to see that no one was filmed during the overnight hours when they had appeared.
Making the matter all the more unsettling, Peerapat proceeded to follow the trail and found that they led to the home of his neighbor, a man dubbed 'Uncle,' who had died a week earlier. Even creepier, when he retraced the steps in the other direction, they brought him to a shop owned by his mother and frequented by his deceased friend during his days among the living. Based on the size of the prints, their route, and the fact that no one was filmed leaving them behind, Peerapat understandably concluded that they were from Uncle's spirit paying his friends a final visit. This supernatural theory was bolstered when he tried to wash them away, but they simply reappeared once the ground became dry again.
