A pilot from Virginia has opened up about a peculiar incident wherein he witnessed a golden UFO outside of his aircraft as he flew over the Midwest. According to a local media report, Julious Figueroa spotted the strange anomaly last summer, though his experience only came to light this past week. The pilot recalled how the incident occurred as he was flying a group of skydivers and, as the aircraft was ascending to 10,000 feet, he caught a glimpse of something strange in the distance. "It started getting closer," Figueroa said, recounting how the fast-moving object appeared to be a golden orb.
Intriguingly, Figueroa indicated that he actually could not see the UFO if he looked directly at it, but based on his glimpse of the anomaly, it appeared to be similar in size to a small car. No doubt hoping to have his observation confirmed, the pilot alerted the skydivers to the oddity outside the aircraft and "three of them see it, including one of the instructors." Alas, Figueroa's attempt at maneuvering to get a better look at the UFO proved to be futile as "by the time I turned the plane, it was already on the horizon."
The pilot subsequently contacted the nearest air traffic control tower to ask if were aware of any drones in the area and was told that, from their perspective, the skies were clear. Figueroa then detailed what he had just witnessed outside of his aircraft moments earlier and asked if they had also spotted the golden orb. "There was a long pause on the other end," the pilot said, before they responded in the negative. The curious event has understandably left Figueroa baffled and, ever since, he has been on the lookout for similar inexplicable objects during his flights.
