During an interview with influencer Logan Paul, former president Donald Trump was asked about UFOs and offered some rather interesting thoughts on the phenomenon. The enlightening exchange (seen above) unfolded towards the end of his lengthy appearance on this week's Impaulsive podcast. When asked if he knew what UFOs are, Trump began by noting that this is "a question I do get a lot and it's such an interesting question." He went on to recall meeting with pilots, whom he described as "perfect people" who are not "crazy" or "conspiratorial," and marveled that they shared incredible accounts of seeing strange objects performing fantastic maneuvers in the sky.
"I look at these guys," Trump observed, "and they really mean it." The former president then mused "am I a believer? No, I probably, I can't say I am, but I have met with people that are serious people that say there's some really strange things that they see flying around out there." Noting the incredible popularity of Roswell due to its place in UFO lore, Trump reiterated to Paul that "you have no idea how many times I'm asked that question" concerning the phenomenon. In response, the influencer wondered "but don't you have access to that information," and the former president somewhat vaguely replied that "I've had actually meetings on it and they will tell you things are going on."
While Trump noted that "people that are very smart and very solid have said they believe there is something out there," he also revealed that "I've never been convinced even despite that, you know, for some reason it's not my thing." Perhaps the most intriguing question during the exchange was put forward by co-host Mike Majlak, who asked if some element within the government could have kept the truth about UFOs hidden from the former president. To that end, Trump conceded that it is possible that the "deep state" might do such a thing, but he expressed skepticism that they would "on this subject." Ultimately, the former president mused that "it's very possible" that there is intelligent life somewhere in our vast universe.
