China Threat / Visions of Atlantis

Hosted byGeorge Noory

In the first half, founder and executive chairman of the Center for Security Policy, an organization that champions "peace through strength," Frank Gaffney, shared his contention that China must be thwarted in what he views as its determined bid to crush liberty, destroy the US, and institute what Xi Jinping calls "global governance, directed and enforced from Beijing." He considers the Chinese Communist Party to be a "transnational criminal organization" akin to the Mafia that has committed crimes against its own people and humanity in general. The centerpiece of their strategy has been to co-opt American elites and receive preferential treatment for the marketplace and trade, he maintained, adding that "they transferred something on the order of 3 to 6 trillion dollars from our pension funds, our mutual funds...to the Chinese Communist Party."

He views the Chinese-owned app TikTok as a tool of propaganda and "an instrument of warfare" that warps the viewpoints of the younger generations, as well as mines their personal data. Further, he cited the fentanyl crisis as a form of "chemical warfare" perpetrated by China. Gaffney asserted that China maintains practical control of such international organizations as the UN, the World Trade Organization, and especially the World Health Organization. He also claimed that many members of the US government have betrayed our country in regards to China and should be held accountable.

In the latter half, researcher and adjunct professor of history and philosophy Michael Le Flem, MA discussed his philosophical and historical investigation of the lost continent of Atlantis, including impressions from clairvoyant Edgar Cayce and how the story of Atlantis has evolved from the account passed down by Plato almost 2,400 years ago into those of the present day. He pointed out that the outline of an enormous continent can be seen in the Mid-Atlantic Ridge in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, and this may have been the site of the fabled Atlantis, which was said to break into a number of islands over several cataclysmic events. One of these islands was likely what Plato was describing, said Le Flem, adding that the legend of Atlantis was possibly referenced by the ancient Egyptians (900 years before Plato) and in the Sanskrit text, the Mahabharata (about 500 years before Plato).

Cayce placed the first destruction of Atlantis at around 50,000 BC and said it was brought about by the application of a human-made directed energy weapon that was intended to diminish the food supply of the "megafauna" (large animals) that were overrunning the Earth. Le Flem also talked about the book "A Dweller on Two Planets," channeled by an American teenager named Frederick Oliver in the late 19th century. Oliver described a lifetime in the year 11,160 BC on an island in the Atlantean empire, and Le Flem considers this work to be a bridge between the material of Cayce, Plato, and the oceanographic evidence. Oliver was perhaps the first to propose the ancient technology aspect of Atlantis, detailing the idea of projected holographic images. The map Oliver drew in 1886 of the Atlantean island superimposes perfectly over a modern-day scan of the Atlantic Ridge, Le Flem marveled.
