Michio Kaku is a professor of theoretical physics at the City University of New York and co-founder of string field theory. In the first half, he discussed humanity's next great technological achievement —quantum computing— which may eventually illuminate the deepest mysteries of science and solve some of humanity's biggest problems. The new revolution in quantum computing harnesses the power of the atomic realm, and in the coming years, will likely replace the traditional silicon microchip, which has reached the end of Moore's Law (chips growing smaller and more powerful every year). Computers that compute on individual atoms already exist, said Kaku, and in these early stages, engineers in China and at Google were able to beat a digital computer by a factor of several million times with their faster quantum set-up.
Many sectors will be affected or revolutionized by the switch to quantum computing. For example, developing nuclear fusion reactors that create clean, renewable energy without radioactive waste or threats of meltdown may finally be possible. Medicine is another field that will see radical improvements, he enthused, with new ways to detect cancer well in advance of tumors actually forming. Further, quantum computing could spot diseases at the molecular level like Alzheimer's, ALS, and Parkinson's, as well as offer solutions to issues around aging, he continued. The downside to this powerful technology, Kaku revealed, is that quantum computers could break any digital code-- so we will need to retool our security apparatus. He also commented on the rise of AI chatbots, noting that they are akin to tape recorders, repeating information in different ways that was previously published on the Internet.

Paul Anthony Wallis is an author of books on spirituality and mysticism and researches the world's mythologies, biblical texts, and ancient ET contact. In his new book, The Eden Conspiracy, he argued that the Hebrew scriptures, what Christians call the Old Testament, was originally not about worshiping and obeying God-- it related to ET contact with our ancestors. In the Book of Enoch, some of these beings were described as fallen angels, which he considers hybrids of aliens and humans. In 2020, Brigadier General Haim Eshed, Israel's former Chief of Space Security, said that ET races have been in contact at a covert government level for decades and are part of a Galactic Federation. "This is exactly the same" as what the Bible refers to as the Sky Council, Wallis commented.
"Cultures all around the world," he continued, "have these stories of visitors from the stars coming and enabling us to make that great leap forward that turned us from living on subsistence on the planet's surface to civilization builders." One example of this was Asherah, a female entity remembered by the ancient tribes of Israel, who was said to teach our ancestors the secrets of farming. Wallis also cited different types of aerial and alien technology mentioned in the Bible, including the "pillar of cloud," which he considers akin to a rocket that launches vertically. Such a rocket was described as containing a capsule in Exodus and Ezekiel, which he related to a drone or a helicopter. A "hole in the sky" precedes the arrival of such craft or "chariots of fire," which suggests to Wallis subspace or pinging technology. The ancient Vedas of the Hindu tradition have similar accounts, he added.
