Amba Gale

Amba Gale

Biography:

Amba Gale is a master coach, award-winning author, and lifelong guide for those ready to live and lead with authenticity, courage, and joy. For more than forty years, she has opened new territory in people's lives-empowering them to connect with their own wisdom, beauty, and creativity, and to build relationships rooted in presence, trust, and possibility. A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of UC Berkeley with honors, and holding a Master's degree in Education, Amba began her career teaching high school English before stepping into the world of transformational leadership.

In the 1980s, she founded Gale Leadership Development, bringing her work to leaders, entrepreneurs, and organizations of all sizes. Her approach is not about tips or techniques; it is about creating the listening that transforms individuals, teams, and cultures. Her award-winning book, Crossing Thresholds, Island Reflections, blends poetry, photography, and reflective questions to guide readers through life's passages-from endings to new beginnings. Through her writing, courses, and coaching, she invites people into the practice of Sacred Listening --listening with the whole heart as an act of reverence and connection.
