Channeling & Suicide

Hosted byArt Bell

Parapsychologist and authority on channeling, Jon Klimo, discussed what happens in the afterlife to those who commit suicide. Klimo conducted a scientific examination of the phenomenon of channeling, and reported that some channelers experience a state where part of them splits off and "starts throwing its own voice," though some studies he conducted showed "a different signal when a person claims to be surrendering to something that comes to or through them."

He went on to discuss a book he had recently co-authored that contained statements from channelers who said they had connected with departed souls who had died from suicides. The supposed channeled suicides made Klimo feel that karma was a real thing and that people who killed themselves had to work out their problems in the afterlife. He declared that the possibility of an afterlife was worth studying, due to thousands of sincere accounts from NDE experiencers, and how "our bodies and brains are not all that we are."

He also received funding to investigate paranormal phenomena such as EVP and seances with night vision (where Klimo said they saw "little beings"). Surprisingly, Klimo revealed that his recent research involved channeling aliens, which he compared to human spirits who have left the Earth. In the last hour, he took questions from listeners. The first hour featured news and Open Lines.
